Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:

• Securing your account credentials (sign-in is via Google OAuth).
• Ensuring any content you upload (e.g., videos for analysis) complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on third-party rights.
• Not attempting to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service.
• Using any generated summaries or analysis responsibly and ethically.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service according to your purchased plan (e.g., credit limits and duration).

Access to certain features requires purchasing credits via plans on our Pricing page.

• Payment Method:

  All payments are processed through our self-hosted BTCPay Server. We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC, including MWEB), and Dogecoin (DOGE). We do not accept traditional credit cards or fiat currency directly.

• Pricing:

  Plan prices are displayed in a reference currency (e.g., USD). The actual cryptocurrency amount is calculated by BTCPay Server at checkout based on current rates. You are responsible for any network transaction fees (miner fees).

• Credit Activation:

  Credits are added to your account upon successful payment confirmation by BTCPay Server and the relevant blockchain network. Confirmation times may vary.

• Credit Expiry:

  Purchased credits expire as specified in the plan details (e.g., 3, 30, or 60 days from purchase). Expired credits are non-recoverable.

• Refunds:

  Due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions and immediate credit provisioning, payments are generally non-refundable. Please choose your plan carefully. Exceptions may be considered only for documented technical failures to deliver credits after confirmed payment, at our sole discretion.

The Service itself, including its underlying technology, design, text, graphics, logos, and AI models, are the exclusive property of Citeio or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

While you retain ownership of the original content you upload (e.g., your videos), the AI-generated summaries, topic extractions, and other analytical outputs produced by the Service are owned by Citeio. However, we grant you a license to use these outputs for your personal or internal business purposes, consistent with your plan. You may not resell or publicly distribute these outputs without explicit permission.

Important limitations regarding our service:

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies; you should verify critical information independently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citeio and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to them or the Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within State of California, United States to resolve any dispute.
